It’s possible that your state or school district are already powered by Ed-Fi. Find out by reviewing the list of Ed-Fi Community Members, these are organizations that have an Ed-Fi license.
- Inventory Your Technology
Every month, new technology platforms adopt the Ed-Fi Data Standard. Your district might be already using software powered by Ed-Fi.
Compile a list of the technology you’re currently using. Then check our growing list of partners that have certified their products on the Ed-Fi Data Standard.

- Find a System Integrator
Ed-Fi is elegantly simple, but integrating it seamlessly with your various software platforms may require an expert. You might consider working with a seasoned Ed-Fi integrator.

- Talk to Your Legal Department
To implement Ed-Fi, you’ll need an official Ed-Fi license (read more in the next step below). You’ll want to share the Sample Ed-Fi License with your legal department.
